They both also sell the hand-cranked black cat flashlight (the eyes shine)...I know this does not help at all. The only identifying marks are on the back: CE...I got nothing useful when I googled it. It's just basic colors and symbols but not really good for knitting symbols. I have Stitch Motif Maker for cables, etc. I am not very computer literate. Stitchpainter is much easier for me to use so I tend to use it a lot more.
