Who knew? Certainly not me. The 2007 Stitch &Bitch Daily Calendar. It would have been nice to know about it in advance; it sure would have made Christmas shopping easy. But now my day is gone, in many wastebaskets across the country, up in smoke or already in the landfill.... Judy of Ohio found me by just my odd name and town and state; and asked what color yarn I'd used . I had no clue! Still don't! She kindly sent me this scan after I emailed her to find out the details, since S&B didn't respond! I'm lucky for my kooky name, and for living in a small town or I might never have known.

Do you remember writing the quote?...Was it from your blog?
I did remember writing the quote, after I saw it. But I thought it was for a book, and we'd get a copy if our quote was included. I haven't really looked to see if I have the original email, it was a loooong time ago.
I seem to remember if an emailling from Debbie Stoller that said if a person had a quote accepted that they would get a copy (I think it was for a calendar.) They must have your details so you could contact the publishers and ask to be promoted to next year so that you see yourself on paper....

And magnusmog, I did email S&B to inquire, but they never replied so I had to quiz Judy. The new call for "stories about knitting for Boyfrieds" query says if you are chosen you will be included in a "drawing" for the calendar. I swear the one I got did not mention a drawing. Still, I'm happy, its cool!
Very cool. Sort of a bummer that you weren't sent a notice so that you could revel in your continued and spreading fame.
